One of my absolutely favourite jobs this year was for the Female Quotient at Cannes Lions.
The Female Quotient is committed to advancing equality in the workplace through collaboration, activating solutions for change and creating measurements for accountability.
During Cannes Lions they host the a ‘Girls Lounge’ on the rooftop of the Hotel Martinez and they booked me to run the Head shot studio. What’s the ‘Girls Lounge’ I hear you ask. Well to put it in a nutshell it’s a place for women to connect, collaborate, learn and inspire during Cannes Lions. It’s a place to relax between conferences and business meetings with a feminine touch. It’s an extremely positive environment to be in.
I have never met so many interesting not to mention powerful women at the top of their industries. There were National Geographic photographers, TV and film produces, writers, CEO’s, actors, musicians, entrepreneurs, Directors, I could go on. It was such a great environment to be in so I was very happy to be running the Head Shot studio during the four day event. It meant I got to have a chat with many of them while they were having their picture taken.
Below are some of my favourite photos of the 300+ women I photographed over the four days. It was an exhausting four days but I loved every minute of it.
