Around about this time last year a friend and client of mine Fernado, producer of the delicious range of Fernando Pensato Olive oils and Pasta, invited me the the Christams Suppliers market at the 5 star hotel Le Mas Candille in Mougins.
I have known Fernando for a few years now after photographing him for a series called ‘people who Make Monaco’ published by CityOut Monaco. He calls me out of the blue once a year usually asking me to come and take some photos either that day or the next – he is very spontaneous and up to now I have always been free. Previous rdv’s have been at the Cafe de Paris, Eden Roc and Le Mas Candille where we had a Michelin starred lunch at the chefs table cooked by the Head chef at the time Serge Gouloumes. Therefore I know the experience will always be amazing. On this occassion the event was a suppliers market of the key suppliers to Le Mas Candille, no lunch this time :). It was freezing but still packed with visitors buying the delicious products on offer. Anyway I was reminded of these photos I took that day whilst updating this website over the last few weeks. I love some of the pictures but they don’t really fit anywhere o the main website so decided to share through my blog instead.
